Description

This course is designed to enable the student to begin professional development in the clinical nurse leadership role. Students will examine theories of leadership, advocacy, team coordination, and chronic illness. In this course they will explore all dimensions of the leadership role with an emphasis on developing delegation, supervision, and conflict resolution skills. Throughout this course, student will develop their abilities to manage interdisciplinary care, group process and working with difficult people. (prereq: NU-605, NU-601, NU-615)
